The CeBIT 2018 was grandly opened in Hanover, Germany, on June 11, 2018. This 5-day event featuring information technology and digital industry gathered a lot of famous manufacturers from all over the world. Brainware Terahertz, the subsidiary of the 38th Research Institute of CETC, brought its latest terahertz security equipment for on-site exhibition, which attracted many visitors and showed the world-class innovative achievements and technological strength from China.

CeBIT is the largest and most internationally representative computer expo with anexhibition area of roughly 450,000 m² and a peak attendance of 850,000 visitors during the dot-com boom. The trade fair is held each year on the Hanover fair ground, the world's largest fair ground, in Hanover, Germany. It is considered a barometer of current trends and a measure of the state of the art in information technology. This year, more than 2,800 participating companies,over 600 speakers on ten stages, and 370 startups from Europe, Africa and Asiaturned Hannover into a globe digitization hotspot during this event.

It is the second time for Brainware Terahertz, the leader in the terahertz security check industry, to attend this event since 2014. One set of TeraSnap Revolving Detector was brought to exhibition.
